Happy Birthday Card | Blue & Yellow

Hello Hello Lovelies!

Good morning everyone and happy Friday! I hope you all had a great week. Today I have my first ever Birthday Card ! So far this is one of my favorite cards. There was a little mistake but its okay. The next time I make this one it'll be better.

I love this card and I loved making it. There are so many fun colors, ideas and possibilities when it comes to creating cards. Especially Birthday cards. I hope that people like these cards as much as I do. It still takes me darn near three to four hours to complete a card, it's totally worth it though.

For this card I used some nice blue card stock as the card basis. From there I layered on yellow card stock that I had patterned with some stamps. I want some pattern paper really badly. However, since I don't have any yet I made do. Personally, I really like the pattern I created. Then I used some green, blue, and yellow card stock to layer up some borders on the bottom part of the card. Using scraps of the same green card stock I made the "Happy Birthday" tag. Next was to stamp out the balloons, presents, and cake on some white card stock. Which I then colored in with my water color paints. Once I found my perfect arrangement I started adhering all the pieces together.
On the inside of the card I had some textured white card stock I had left over that I used as the base. I added yellow, green, and blue card stock as borders inside. The borders were scraps from cutting the front borders. I just embossed the green border with dots from my stencil before sticking it to the card. I added the cake cutout and a sentiment stamped onto leftover blue paper. Same as the outside, I arranged all the remaining pieces and then stuck them down.

All in all this was a very cool and time consuming card to make but its lovely! I hope you all like it as much as I do.
