Happy Father's Day Card | For my dad.

Hello Hello Eclecticist Family!

How is everyone doing today? I'm trying to get a head start on the cards I need to make for upcoming holidays and birthdays. Starting it off I created this "Happy Father's Day" card for my dad. I love the idea of this card. However, I feel the execution of it could've been much better. That's okay though. It's a learning process.

I love the front of this card. It would be better if I stamped the car in brown to match everything else. I don't have any brown ink pads. Yet, I do have a brown marker that would have worked. The inside of the card is where I get a little uneasy. The borders look awesome. I love them. Again should have stamped with brown versus black, but hey! You do, what you do. I think its the circle that I'm the most upset about. I feel that it looks a little unfinished. Maybe I'll add a sentiment on the inside.

Anyhow, this card was actually really quick to put together. All of my borders had already been cut with a decorative blade and ran through the Xyron for adhesive. Same with the front card board label. I really only had to cut out the base card stock, the larger blue area on the card front and the circle on the inside. I cut the card front a little shorter with a scalloped decorative blade so that you could see the inner printed border. Once I had my layout all glued down, I placed my label on the front and stamped it with my "Happy Father's Day" stamp. Stamped the bottom of the card with car and some swirly stamps on the inner blue border. Voila, just like that the card is complete!
