Stamp Practice Run

Hello Lovelies!

Hi everybody. I hope you all had a great weekend. I'm still trying to catch up my posts here on my blog. Which makes things feel a little disoriented. Anyhow, after my hubby bought me my first set of stamping supplies, I went straight to practicing with them. I wanted to create something right there and then! You know? Here are a few of the first items I made. They are very beginner. Yet, I wanted to share them with you guys so you can see the progress I've been making with each new project I do. They aren't professional grade or anything like that. However, I am very proud of each project I have done and the progress I have accomplished.
The very first card I attempted to make was a Happy Spring card which you can see below. I used my clear polymer stamps from Hero Arts and a set of Recollections markers that I bought for under $5. This card is super basic. Yet, I still think its cute. I'll have to redo this one once I've gotten a little better.
My very first attempt at a card! Lol don't laugh too hard!

For my second attempt, I used my wood mounted rubber stamp set from Recollections for the main center piece and corner pieces. The spotted clusters came from my Holiday set of Hero Arts clear polymer stamp set. All the colors were added with my Recollections markers. I really like this card and want to try again with water color paints.
This one came out much nicer!

The fourth creation of mine was another "Celebrate Everyday" card. On this card I used all my Recollections products. I find this to be my least favorite of the cards.
Here, I decided to decorate the inside as well.
I also made a "Happy Mother's Day" card. Here I used a technique I saw on The Frugal Crafter youtube channel. Where she used a piece of photo paper to stamp on. I love this idea but this card came out so-so.
Out & in of a Mother's Day card I practiced.
