Xyron Creative Station & Cards!

Hello Hello Lovelies!

OMG! So, have I got something fun and funny to tell you guys.

This past weekend my sister in law started sending me youtube videos and introduced me to something called the Xyron Creative Station. First of all, WOW! That thing looks super cool and I want one! It's a powerless machine that lets you turn just about anything into a sticker, laminated, or magnetic type of project. It is really cool and would be perfect for card making.

Anyhow, my sister in law was telling me about it and how she has some random fabric pieces that she isn't using for anything that could easily be turned into a sticker that could be used on my cards. So naturally I'm like, "That's really cool sis thanks, but you don't have to do that. Eventually I'll buy one of these for myself."  Of course, she responds by telling me how much she would love to do it and all that jazz. Then I told her, "I don't want you to go out and get one just to make these things for me." Well the funny part of this whole situation is that she forgot to tell me or I misunderstood, but she bought the machine for $5!! You see, there is this buy, sell, and trade group on Facebook that we both are on. Apparently she found one on there the other day for that price and instantly bought it because she thought it was something she could use for photography, which she can. However, once she started researching it she realized it was something that I could benefit from as well. Hence the reason she told me about it. After realizing that she actually had the machine, we both burst out laughing! Especially because the last few days we had been talking in circles about it!

Now that you guys know all of that. Erika brought over the creative station and a bunch of her fabric during the weekend. She made me a few stickers that I can't wait to use. While we were hanging out and doing some crafting, she pulled out the fleece type of fabric that was covered in fruit pattern. Right away we came up with a super cute spring card idea. I grabbed out some clay fruit nail decal pieces. Erika cut out a nice single cherry and we ran it through the Xyron. Just like that, BAM! Brand new custom sticker for a custom card! It was so freaking exciting! It was so quick. Quick to make the sticker. Quick to make the card. The longest part of the process was cutting the cherry out and gluing the other fruit down.

Super cute "Happy Spring" card we created!
Definitely need to get one of these for myself! I'm already coming up with tons of ideas to make with it. Luckily for me, Erika said I could borrow it until she needs it back. I'll replace what I've used of course but I'm so excited to use it.

What did you guys think of my latest creation?
