Butterfly Card | The Sky's the Limit |

Hello my lovely Eclecticist's!!

Recently my hubby took me to Michael's to go shopping. He needed a few supplies and said I could get a couple of things too. With those supplies, I started playing around and ended up coming up with this lovely card.

For a while now, I have been really wanting to use this neon pink card stock I have. I just haven't had any ideas that would work using such a bright color. Not until I got these lovely new supplies! This is definitely my best card yet! Of course I still made a couple of small mistakes. Eventually I'll get to a point where I'm making fewer mistakes. Either way I'm totally proud of myself.

I cut out some neon pink card stock from the Neenah neon collection to use as my card base. Then I cut some sky blue card stock from for the interior and the first layer on the front. Not having any patterned paper, I created my own using my flower stamp by Tim Holtz and my Colorbox ink pads in a sky blue. I did the same on the green border after I cut it out but with the darker green ink pad. Using my new Tim Holtz Distress water color crayons I created the background around the butterfly, as well as lightly coloring in the butterfly. I also used the crayons to color around the inside sentiment. Once everything was ready and laid out, I adhered everything together using my Tombow mono multi liquid glue. Finishing it off with the sequin embellishments.
