Full Moon | January | Wolf Moon

I got a new telescope for Christmas. It has been so long since I had a working telescope to look at the sky through. I love being able to see all the stars you can't see with the naked eye as well as seeing all the details of our lovely moon! With it being the first full moon of the year, I decided to break out the new baby and try to get a photo.  I don't know how photographers are able to capture such stunning photos of the moon. I, however, just put my phones camera lens up to the eye piece on my camera. That's how I got this photo of Luna. I am hoping to turn this into a running theme here on my blog. Hopefully the universe will provide nice clear skies on the nights of our full moons. So that I may be able to get a nice view of each one! Hope you all enjoy this photo.
