St. Patty's Card | Believe in Luck

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday! I hope you're all having a wonderful day.
Our storm still hasn't let up and its looking like its going to continue for some days to come still. Which means it was a pretty dreary and rainy day yesterday. Hopefully this new St. Patrick's card I made can instill some brightness to the day!

I made this card the other day when I made my first St. Patty's card.
When I began creating the background for my previous card, I had accidentally messed it up. So I thought I would flip the embossed piece over and do my ink blending over the back side. Which ended up looking pretty cool. And ended up making two cards in one sitting. You can't beat that!

For the background I used my circles embossing folder from Spellbinders and my Tim Holtz Twisted Citron mini ink cube. Once the background was all blended I added a strip of Recollections gold glitter washi tape to one side. Added some stems for the clovers with some tiny strips of green card stock and glued down my hearts to create the four leafed clovers. Punched out a circle of white card stock and heat embossed the sentiment. Finishing the front off with green and gold Recollections sequins.

For the interior I used a Recollections green distressed piece of card stock for the background and area to write. I used my "Believe in yourself" sentiment stamp, just masked off the "yourself" with tape so that it wouldn't get picked up by the ink and stamped it out in my Colorbox Emerald Green. Then I stamped out the "Luck" with my Maya Road stamp set, using a gold ink pad and going over it with some Brilliant Gold PearlEx. With same PearlEx powder, I went over some little circles I made with my Tim Holtz Clear Embossing pen. Finishing up the interior of my card.

I always say this but, thank you all so very much for taking the time to read my posts. I really enjoy creating these cards and its fun to be able to share them with others. I hope to one day be able to sell them.

I'd love to hear from my readers!
