April Full Pink Moon | Monthly Full Moon Watch

Hi everyone. 

I know I'm a few days late on my Full Moon post.

 However, better late than never! Here is this months full moon!

April's Full Pink Moon.

Also known as the Egg Moon, Fish Moon, and the Sprouting Grass Moon.

This moon gained its names from heralding the appearances of moss pink and/or wild ground Phlox. Which is one of springs first flowers. Also because it would signify that spring is in full effect. A time when shad, a herringlike fish, would swim upstream to reproduce.

As always, the photo is taken with my Samsung S7 Edge cell phone camera by connecting the camera lens with my telescope eye lens.
