Celebrate Everyday | Rose Friendship Card

Hello Hello Lovelies!

This week I've been watching some card making videos on youtube, trying to get some inspiration and new ideas. For this card I wanted to practice layering up the card stock to create a more detailed and sturdy card.

I am so excited for this card! Truly, I impressed myself with this one. It took me almost four hours to complete this card and it was totally worth it. The progress I'm making, not trying to be overly sure of myself, is pretty amazing to me. Anyhow, I created the little quote with the Xyron Creative Station. I love that thing! All the patterned edges were done with pattern specific scissors that I already had on hand. All the embossing I did by hand using my nail tool and a stencil together. Since I currently don't have any patterned paper I went ahead used a leaf stamp and my green markers to create that effect. I'm not sure what to do with this card yet, or who to give it to. I'm sure it'll find a great home one day! Until then, I'm happy to share it with all of you.

• Double sided nail art tool.

• Patterned scissors.
